A museum in Berlin’s ‚cityscape‘. The currently vacant center of the Kulturforum is occupied with a single-story museum building, initiating an activation of the existing public space. The exhibition areas are concentrated on ground and first basement level, directly linking it to the art galleries of Neue Nationalgallerie. Above the pinth rises a slender tower, providing spaces for gastronomy, education and administration. A landmark visible from afar, it marks the main entrance to the museum on Potsdamer Strasse.
